Living and learning with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences is at the heart of a residential undergraduate education. But the cost of a high-quality education is rising faster than wages, making it impossible for low-income families—and harder for middle-income ones—to afford Lafayette. Increasingly, student debt constrains opportunity. Yet Lafayette has so much to offer talented students from all walks of life. An admissions process that is able to turn a blind eye toward income will diversify and strengthen the quality of our student body.
FINANCIAL AID is a signature initiative of the Live Connected, Lead Change campaign. As a result of this campaign, 195 new named scholarships are now helping to ensure access for the most talented students regardless of means. What does that money make possible?
