Lafayette College held its first annual Thank A Donor Day on April 11. Nearly 100 students took time out of their busy schedules to stop by Farinon College Center to sign thank you cards, which were mailed to alumni, parents, and friends who supported Lafayette this year. The event not only offered the opportunity for students to send messages of gratitude, but served as a reminder to the entire Lafayette community about the power of philanthropy and the impact it has at the College.
Lafayette is in the final phase of the $400 million Live Connected, Lead Change fundraising campaign, which concludes this December. With a focus on affordability and distinction through growth, gifts are supporting many initiatives including financial aid and scholarships, endowed faculty and coaching positions, facility enhancements, and more. Last fiscal year, more than 10,000 supporters contributed a total of $26.5 million to Lafayette, which included $8.2 million for the Annual Fund.
