Lafayette faculty members from all fields frequently enjoy collaborations with partners in research projects. While larger, institutional initiatives involving teams of faculty are organized through Lafayette Connects, individual faculty and class collaborations can be arranged by contacting the dean of academic initiatives and the director of sponsored research.
Faculty sponsored research also enables students like Anna DeFelice ’24 (pictured above) to work alongside faculty on research projects. In the summer of 2022, DeFelice worked with quartz crystal microbalance to measure how much nanoplastic would deposit onto a riverbed. DeFelice is working with Assistant Professor of chemistry, Arielle Mensch.
